the story the film is about amalia from tylösand and takes place in 1873. when her father, brother, husband and child die within two years she becomes depressed. therefore her friend, kristina, puts in an contact ad in the local newspaper which results in three letters from three men. amalia meets the men and finally makes a decision. nathalie söderqvist plays amalia's best friend kristina. |
